i purchased this truck for $275 a couple weeks back.. the story i was given is it was his since day 1 of its birth.. the truck was made in january of 78 and was used as a farm truck thruought its life still has the original ford tag plates on it.. has the V6 300 in it runs good has a small gas leak coming from the carb.. checked around new one will run me $100 to $169 sucks.. has 32 inch BFG Radial M/T KMs couple rust spots here n there and is missing the side strips.. dash board is pealing and cracked. Drivers side door pannel is gone and there is a bullet hole in the door lol (wasnt me) the guy said his wife got mad at him one night lol..

nothign you wouldnt exspect from an old truck i do love the fact that it was a 1 owner lol.. hope to get this thing up to full force soon and reayd for elko and lesiur mud bogging..

Nice!!! I put in a np435 in my truck the granny gear is great for crawling. :thumbup

For your carb I would try to rebuild it before replacing. It isn't that bad to do.

Check out www.supermotors.org. You can set up an album dedicated to your truck and the modifications, engine, transmission and all those goodies. Plus you can use it for picture posting/image hosting.

That tailgate modification is...interesting. I can't decide if I like it or not. :toothless
